On August 26, 2025, Milt Moran, President of Cascade Timber Consulting, Inc., presented the City of Sweet Home with a generous donation of $66,200.00 on behalf of the Hill Family Trust, in memory of Bill Marshall. The City is deeply grateful for this meaningful contribution, which not only honors Bill’s legacy but also demonstrates an enduring commitment to our community.
As of August 26, 2025, the City still needs $84,818.38 for the trail and sidewalk portion of the project (final amount will increase once bandstand costs are added).
If more donations are received than are needed for this project, excess funds will be used for other park improvements throughout the City of Sweet Home.
