Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Library was established in 1984 to help support the Library. The Friends currently fund our Summer Reading Programs for All Ages, Participate in our Art in the Park events, fund our Community Reads Program and provide funds for our circulating Games and Puzzles. They are an incredible community assest.

Meetings
- Time: 5:30 pm
- Date: Third Monday of January, March, May, July, September, and November
- Location: Friends of the Library Book Store, 1200 Long Street
Bookstore
- The Bookstore is currently open Tuesday - Saturday from 11am - 5pm.
- In 2024 the Friends are turning 40 years old!
- The store accepts donations only during open hours.
- The bookstore is located at 1200 Long Street, Sweet Home, OR
The Friends also do other fundraisers throughout the year. It is NOT a requirement to work in the bookstore to be part of the Friends; we try to fit talents, tasks, and people to the right job.
